Pediatric surgery can be defined as a super-specialty within the field of surgery, including the surgery of fetuses, babies, adolescents, children, and young adults. Pediatric surgery emerged in the middle of the twentieth century, and as a result, surgical care for infants and children has improved. In pediatric surgery, unique kinds of novel strategies and techniques are most regularly used at children's hospitals.
